My journey into surf photography began in high school, when I became best friends with a boy I’d always considered the best surfer in our hometown. He introduced sixteen-year-old me to the very heart of surf culture. His way of life—a harmonious blend of respect for the ocean, thirst for freedom, and love for raw adventure—sparked a passion within me that continues to shape both my work and my perspective on the world.
