Captured on February 5, 2024 near Peter’s Island in the British Virgin Islands with my Canon EOS 650.
This was shot from the deck of a yacht anchored in the most magical alcove of the island over a lush seagrass bed. Before bringing the boat back to the marina, the captain and I went snorkeling. As we made our way across the bay, he pointed out stingrays, identified sea urchin species, and placed a spider crab in my hands. I swam beside a green sea turtle, dove beneath the boat to watch the remora, and befriended a cushion sea star.
